Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that it has signed a lease agreement with Grupa Allegro, the largest e-commerce platform in Poland, for 21,950 square metres at Prologis Park Błonie. The transaction involves 13,100 square metres of space that has been leased now and an additional 8,850 square metres that will be leased in 2017.
Within the framework of this year's second-largest lease transaction, FM Logistic extended its contract and increased its rental area at the M0 Central Business Park. With the new 21,170 square meters total area lease - supported by property consultant CBRE - the industrial park is now completely full.
JLL represented the landlord in the leasing of 9,380 sq m to Gimek Zrt. in Rozália Park. With this transaction the logistics park is nearly fully let, only a few units are available in the gallery level.
In the second quarter, Prologis CEE leased nearly 520,000 square metres, an 86 percent increase over the same period in 2013. Transactions in Poland accounted for more than 57 percent of all lease agreements signed in the region.
A total of 690,000 sq m of modern manufacturing, logistics and warehousing premises was developed in Central Europe in 2013 representing an investment of more than 330 million euros and creating around 3,700 new jobs in the region. These figures were released today by Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-owned real estate adviser.
