Following Mexico, China and South Korea, LG Magna e-Powertrain is building up its first European factory in Hungary where  electric powertrain parts will be manufactured.

After finishing the foundation and structure building works started in February 2024, Bernecker Zrt team assigned with general construction tasks completed the roof and the shell of the hall till the beginning of the summer, and with this being done the building attained its external appearance. By the end of June, the hall became enclosed and waterproof enabling the launch of interior construction, electric and machinery works.

’The 11,500 sqm industrial and logistic building is our second hall developed  in Miskolc’- stated by Balázs Czifra, Sales and Asset Management Director of Infogroup. ’Miskolc is considered to be an area of major importance, we are present here at several locations. On this plot  it is possible to build halls reaching a total of cc. 27,000 sqm, hence this site has a further development potential of 15,500 sqm.’

The building is scheduled to be handed over this autumn, the trial production can start after installing the machinery and obtaining the relevant permissions in 2025.
